Email Marketing - 5 Simple For Email Marketing Best Practices
By didiel | July 24, 2008
Although some people have used email marketing for spamming mail boxes, here are some tips that will definitely help you implement your email marketing strategy successfully:
Tip#1: Trust
In email marketing you need to create a scenario where your prospective customers can trust you. If you sell your customer’s private information to another entity for a price then that will be the end of the road. Don’t barge into their privacy and at the same time reach out to them on a personal level.
Tip#2: Newsletters
How you create a newsletter and what goes in it will define how well your email marketing strategy will work. Put some peppy content, add information of importance, offer discounts and get the customers attention - all this will ensure that your email marketing strategy is a success.
Tip#3: Exit Strategy
The golden rule is that you should always have an exit strategy. There are many online users who might have given their email address to you at one point of time because of any number of reasons but now they might want to stop the mailers or newsletters from you. In such a scenario, you should have an email marketing strategy to fall back on.
Tip#4: Best Practices
Every industry has their best practices and you need to find the one for your industry and apply it.
Tip#5: Pamper
Pampering works! Once in a while, you should tray and pamper your customer so that they feel good in life and this will help in maintaining a long and fruitful business relationship.

Internet Marketing Campaign - Choosing the Right Tool For Your Marketing Campaign Success
By didiel | July 23, 2008
Are you utilizing the internet to market your business? If you are not. It is now probably the right time for you to start thinking about running an internet marketing campaign. By doing your marketing via the net, you get to market your business to the entire world population who are connected to the net.
How do you market your business over the net? What tools would you need? I have to admit. There are probably hundreds of marketing tools out there. Just do a Google Search for Marketing Tools. Hundreds if not thousands would be listed. Which do you choose? Before you choose from the many tools available, you should first know what to look for in a marketing tool.
So, to help you out, here are 3 Essential Features to look for in a tool which you use to market your business on the internet:
1. Bulk Email Marketing Email is probably the best method of marketing over the internet. How many times do you check your email in a day? I can bet that you probably have your email client software always running in the background in your computer. Most people even have some sort of an alarm running to inform them about incoming email the instant an email arrive in their mail box. Thus, email is probably the most direct way to reach customers or prospects.
Many products offer this actually. Most service provider allows you to automatically send out your email marketing messages in mass. However, what you should be looking for is not just the ability to send out mass emails. It should also be reliable. The provider should at least be able to give you a guarantee that the emails you send using their service will reach your clients.
2. Campaign Tracking This is probably among the most important feature of your marketing solution. You must track and monitor your email campaigns. By tracking them, you get to identify if there are problems with any particular marketing campaigns. Perhaps a certain amount of the email address in your list is bouncing? Another percent of that list is also showing signs of not being read. The mails went into the users’ spam box perhaps?
Monitoring all these email result behaviors allow you to understand why your campaign is failing or succeeding.
3. Campaign Analysis With the data collected from the tracking and monitoring of your campaigns, you get data and information. Use these statistical data to analyze how your campaigns are fairing in the real world. Identify your successful areas. Understand them. Identify the areas where your campaigns are not so successful. If possible, enhance these areas with your findings in the successful areas.
Don’t forget to determine areas where your campaigns are simply not getting any ROI. Decide if these should be discarded altogether or if they can be worked upon to profit.

Effective Website Tips - Creating a Solid Newsletter Campaign
By didiel | July 23, 2008
Email marketing has been around for quite sometime, however, the way it is approached today is different. Before, a company would receive an email list and blow out coupons and bargains with flashy titles to get your attention. Sound familiar? It should, it’s called junk mail. What is different today is that in order for email marketing successful it cannot be and should not be considered junk mail by it’s recipients. So what separates junk mail from mail? Obviously, everyone has different standards, but here are some tips to keep your mailing list happy and regular readers.
Limit emails - don’t overload you audience The biggest mistake my clients have made in the past is sending too many emails. Each email may have had useful information, but people, in general, are usually turned away from too many emails. It depends on the situation as well, if you advertise a daily email for your list and people sign up, they obviously expect something everyday. My best advice is to use your best judgment and be aware that you can send too much.
Include valuable and useful information - Useful information is extremely important for a successful campaign. This is the back bone of the campaign. After all, that is why people signed up, to receive information that they can use. People can easily forget this. I have ran into clients who started sending information regarding general massage therapy information and coupons for her own practice. Not bad, people signed up. However, a few months later they lost a large amount of readers. People were signing off the list. After further investigation, I found that the readers lost interest when she started sending scientific information from scholarly journals. This was not useful or valuable for the readers, which is why they were lost.
Keep it short and simple - Another mistake is making an email message too long. Again, this may depend on certain people’s standards or what it is regarding, but keep it reasonable. I know personally, when I receive long emails from a list I signed up for, I rarely read all of it, almost never. I believe that it is more valuable to send a shorter, solid and quality information than to send long, dragging information.
Include hyper-links back to the site - An important part of email marketing is generating more attention and traffic to your own website. Add a hyper-links! These add an easy and effective way for people to click and go to your site. That way, you can keep your emails short and offer more valuable information to your site visitors.
Make it easy to sign up and sign out - Lastly, make your email list easy to sign up and sign off. There is nothing worse than signing up for a list and not being able to stop the emails. Even if your readers no longer want to receive your information you need to respect their wishes and keep it smooth, so maybe in the future they sign up again. Don’t burn your bridges.
If you need help with your campaign, I suggest finding a quality web consulting company that can assist you. Making a truly solid campaign involves experience and expertise. You can also check out my website effectiveness blog for more information to help you.

Viral Marketing - Viral Marketing Techniques
By didiel | July 22, 2008
The phrase viral marketing sounds like an illness that might land you in bed for a solid week. However, viral marketing is one of the most powerful and popular forms of marketing on the Internet today.
Taking its cues from the traditional word of mouth method of advertising. Viral marketing is a way to create a stir about your website. Many organizations will do this by using a creative blog, which will get people talking about their site. Another interesting form of viral marketing is the use of games or contests. People visit your site to enter to win a free million-dollar make over and will be drawn in by the other marketing messages. Interesting movie clips or images are still other ways to draw attention.
Organizations will also use over the top viral marketing techniques to garner the attention of the media. One good news story about their website will do more for their traffic flow than any well thought out advertising campaign could hope to do. People are interested in the obscure, or unusual, so the more innovative the viral marketing idea, the more attention it is likely to draw.
Creativity is the norm in an effective viral marketing campaign, however, it is important that your efforts will assist you in drawing credibility to your product while still drawing traffic to your site. A bizarre promotion that is irrelevant to your product could serve to derail the good reputation you have already built for your organization.
Viral marketing is a powerful way to build traffic to your website. A well thought out campaign will not only get people talking, it will get them motivated to visit your site and buy your product.

Viral Marketing Article: How To Create One
By didiel | July 20, 2008
Creating a viral marketing article is all about writing the sort of content that ezine publishers are looking for to include in their online publications. It starts with a clear understanding about what exactly they are looking for.
The whole idea about creating a viral marketing article is to create the sort of article that will get re-posted and re-published as many times as possible. Thus one article can end being re-posted at dozens or even hundreds or thousands of other sites. This sort of viral marketing article will therefore have created numerous links all pointing to your site. Apart from this generating traffic, it will also have a very positive impact on search engine positioning which will result in even more traffic.
Ezine publishers usually shun articles that are too long so to create a potential viral marketing article, you will need to keep the number of words between 250 and 400 words or so. The Internet medium favors short articles with plenty of impact.
Many ezine publishers will also usually be looking at attracting as much traffic as possible with the articles in their archived ezines. This means that they will tend to favor keyword rich articles for their own marketing reasons and these are therefore the most likely sort of articles to attain highly viral status. This fact is even truer with the non-ezine-publisher who are also constantly seeking good content to re-post at their sites.
The more genuinely useful and devoid of self-serving links (littered all over the article outside the usual acceptable resource box links) your marketing article is, the higher the chances of it going crazily viral to your great profit.

How to Use Viral Marketing to Build Traffic to Your Website
By didiel | July 20, 2008
Viral marketing is one of the most effective ways of driving traffic to your website with little effort on your part. With viral marketing, you can send your marketing message to selected recipients who then pass on that message to others. Viral marketing is easy and affordable, so anyone can do it.
If you have high quality products, your marketing message will be passed on to many people. Internet marketers want to pass on high quality products or services to their own lists. So the more appealing your products are, the quicker your marketing message will get spread all over the internet, and this will generate huge volumes of traffic to your website.
You can carry out your viral marketing campaign by creating e-books, reports or articles and distribute them to targeted recipients, giving them for free. Any internet marketer can do this; since it simply involves creating the product, pass it on and let other people pass it on further for you. Key examples of how you can do viral marketing are as follows.
Offer high quality products that spread your marketing message. Write well-researched reports and e-books on your niche and add your URL on these reports. Many people like getting free reports and e-books. These e-books will provide very powerful information on your topic, and people who read them will visit your website. Further distribution of your reports and e-book will result in more traffic to your website as well as increased awareness of your business or brand.
You can also offer a free service or product on your web site that spreads your message to an increasing number of people who hear about it. Send out news releases concerning the free service or product available on your site. This in turn will generate huge volumes of traffic to your website.
Setting up an affiliate program that encourages links to your products can also be helpful. If you can afford it, provide attractive financial incentive for other sites to pass on your marketing message. You can also install a ‘Recommend it” referral system on your website so that other internet marketers will pass on your website address to their lists. By having your own affiliates promoting your website, you drive a lot of traffic to your website.
Use traffic exchange programs where you exchange website links with other internet marketers. When you add your website link to another site, some people may be interested in it, and they may bookmark it or pass it on to other people who may be interested in your niche.
Write good quality articles and encourage other webmasters to post them for free as content on their sites. If you’re an expert in a niche, write an article on that niche and give it away for free to complementary sites to post on their site as free content, so long as the article contains links to your site.
Write high quality articles and distribute them online for free with reprinting rights. More directories, newsletters and e-zines will publish your article with your resource box and URL. With little effort, your URL will be distributed all over the internet, and this will lead to a huge flow of traffic to your website.
Use the power of viral marketing to spread your marketing message all over the internet and drive high volumes of traffic to your website.

Generate Free Traffic With Viral Marketing
By didiel | July 20, 2008
Viral marketing is basically infecting people to market for you through word of mouth. Let take a look at Hotmail.com for example, they gave away free email account and every email message sent out there was a link at the bottom that offer end user free email account and from there Hotmail’s popularity grew overnight.
Blue Mountain Arts is a virtual greeting card company that also uses viral marketing effectively to grow their popularity. Basically they offer people free card to send to their friends and family and people who received the cards are invited back to the website to send free cards in reply.
You can learn from these two companies how they use viral marketing by keeping it simple but effective. You can also do the same by offering free product or service that can benefit people and drive traffic back to your site.
Besides offering free product or service, there are many ways you can make your message go viral. Here is a list which I’m taking directly from Mike Filsaimes viral marketing ebook title “Virology.”
a) Worth Talking About
b) Innovative
c) Fresh/New
d) Controversial
e) Funny
f) Heart-Warming
g) Taboo
h) Secretive
i) Anticipation
j) Inspirational
Remember when using these methods of viral marketing you do not want this to appear as an ad most of the time, but it’s more about entertaining people and at the same time you have your message weave into these elements to get your messages out to people without them realizing this is an ad.
One of the best medium you can use to get your message go viral is using video. If you have a great imagination and creativity and able to capture all this in a video, your viral marketing could be huge as people could simply watch it and tell their friends and so on and this could spread like wildfire.

Why Viral Marketing Helps Business
By didiel | July 20, 2008
Viral Marketing is a big solution to most problems in business. Ever since I learned how to use Viral Marketing, it’s helped me and my clients improve business.
Advertising on the internet is extremely important. It’s the wave of the future. If anybody wants anything, whether it’s a phone number, an address, a restaurant, a plumber… anything, they go to the search engines. It’s fast, it’s easy, it’s simple. For businesses, advertising online is so important. Everyone knows that because everyone’s doing it!
Here’s the problem. The market today is oversaturated with so many internet advertising services and it’s gotten to the point where they’re all doing the same things on the internet and they’re just competing with each other so now nothing works. The question is, what makes MY service different so that it saves my clients money and helps make additional revenue. That’s the real question isn’t it?
My company uses special techniques and strategies that no one else has been using in most industries. Viral Marketing is a PROVEN strategy that we use to help people save money, and generate more new business. Viral marketing in a nutshell, is basically digital or electronic word of mouth advertising. Ya know, offline we call it word of mouth. Online, it’s referred to as viral marketing. It’s where one person tells or emails another about a website, story, video, movie, restaurant, product etcetera. The message usually starts out with something like: hey mike, you’ve gotta check this out.
Snickers uses Viral Marketing. Burger King uses viral marketing. Hotmail uses viral marketing. BMW uses viral marketing. In the insurance industry, nobody’s been using viral marketing!
Last year I helped 37 insurance companies increase their sales by as much as 50% with profit growth even higher than that. Last month I helped a client of mine in the insurance industry sell 22 more insurance policies…in the insurance industry!
Because of Viral Marketing … I can help businesses sell more of what they have to offer. I can bring in potential buyers. What that means is there’s no competition!! And what that really means more revenue, more money! And the reason I say that is because everyone who uses Viral marketing is making money.
